Before joining Gower, Wooten & Darneille, Kate represented insurance companies in subrogation suits in a high-volume, plaintiffs’ litigation practice which gave her a unique perspective for her current handling of defense litigation in similar automobile accident matters. Kate handles a large caseload and has tried over a dozen Magistrate Court cases and several jury trials to verdict.
Outside of work, Kate enjoys spending time with her two daughters. She is an avid seamstress with a diverse portfolio in interior décor and costumes. Kate also works with a local animal shelter to trap, neuter, and release feral cats in her community.
