BIOGRAPHY

Ashley Pate is an Atlanta native and Associate with Gower, Wooten & Darnielle. She completed her
undergraduate degree at Georgia State University and received her Juris Doctorate from John Marshall Law School in Midtown Atlanta. As a law student, Ashley focused her education on trial law and evidence as a member of the John Marshall Law Review and Moot Court teams.

Before coming to Gower, Wooten, & Darnielle, Ashley was primarily focused on personal injury cases for the Plaintiff. Ashley has over 15 years of experience in the legal profession assisting clients in resolution of pre-litigation and litigation of personal injury cases. As an attorney, Ashley has also handled cases involving family law and immigration, often working closely with Dekalb Pro Bono to assist people facing domestic violence situations.

Today, the majority of Ashley’s practice involves insurance defense for cases involving incidents such as motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and wrongful death. Through litigation, she helps insurance companies determine the value of a case and try the case on its merits.
